As the "hands on" Principal of G Hunter & Co Pty Limited, Jim has almost 55 years experience and a wealth of knowledge about real estate in the Parkes and surrounding district. He now specialises in valuations. Jim enjoys the "people" side of his job where he gets to chat with lots of different people.

Terry Hunter Auctioneer/Salesperson/Director
For well over 30 years Terry has developed his skills as the Auctioneer for all G Hunter & Co Pty Limited property and land auctions, farm clearing sales and furniture sales. Terry plays an active role in the Parkes community. He donates his services regularly for charity and fundraising auctions and is well known in the local Rugby Union Club as a former player and current Junior coach.

David Hughes Asset Manager
David manages our extensive portfolio of commercial, retail and industrial properties and he has wide experience in sales and marketing management in a number of diverse industries prior to joining Hunters in 2005.
His current role is full of variety and includes management of a large number of retail shops, office buildings and commercial warehouses and workshops. This includes liaising with owners and lessees, managing and arranging repairs, arranging leases and the myriad of other tasks that are required in a commercial environment.

Jenny Breaden Property Management Secretary
Jenny provides administrative and secretarial support to the Property Management team. She prepares correspondence, legal documentation, marketing packs and ensures information flows and is organised within the department – she is an essential part of the team.

Jan Douglas Marketing/Admin Support
Jan provides administration and marketing services for the Sales Department and front office, and is responsible for weekly advertising in the Parkes Champion Post. Jan has a background in secretarial/
administration roles and has run her own business with her husband for the last 13 yers prior to joining G Hunter and Co.

Julie Gosper Receptions
Julie is the friendly person who greets you most Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and is the initial contact point for customers and clients. Julie is on hand to arrange your rental inspection appointments, take rental applications and help with sales enquiries. You might also know Julie from the netball canteen or from the other end of the netball whistle!

Diane Elliott Sales Secretary
Diane provides secretarial services and sales support to the salesmen, Jim and Terry Hunter, liaises with clients, solicitors and financial providers and also manages the sales side of our website. As an integral member of the Parkes community, Diane was also the Secretary of the Parkes Harness Racing Club for 4 years.

Matthew Hunter Sales Department
Matthew has found his niche in the sales department working with clients, either selling a property or finding the right property for a prospective purchaser. Matthew is currently undertaking his real estate licence.
Matthew has all round experience in the real estate industry having worked in our Property Management dept assisting our Asset Manager, Susan Taylor in the day to day running of the division.
Like his father, Matthew is also involved with the local Rugby Union Club, coaching the U17’s and still plays!.

Christine Patton-Symonds Trust Accounts Manager
Christine was looking for a ‘sea change’ after 12 years in the fuel industry, and recently joined the G Hunter team to manage our Trust Accounts.
Being a local (born and bred in the small farming town of Alectown), Christine has extensive knowledge of the area.
Christine’s husband, Les is the youngest son of Earl & the late Grace Symonds, the pioneering blacksmith of Parkes. Their children are now adults, which leaves Chloe the beloved little miniature foxy to rule the Symonds household!
